How to Pay for Home Care Services
VNA serves communities throughout western Pennsylvania, including Butler, Armstrong, Mercer and Northwest Westmoreland counties, as well as portions of surrounding counties.
The cost of home care services can be paid either by the patient or through a variety of public and private sources including:
- Medicare
- Medicaid
- Private insurance
- Veterans Administration
- Older Americans Act (OAA)
- Workers’ compensation
- Social Services Block Grant Programs
- Long-term care insurance
Please note that coverage varies by policy, so it is best to consult with your insurance provider or social worker for more information. Also, you should know that as a community-based, nonprofit home health care organization, VNA can work with you to provide care regardless of your ability to pay for services.
