For some older adults, keeping track of multiple prescriptions presents a daily challenge. There may be one set of pills to be taken in the morning, another in the afternoon and yet another at night. VNA offers an innovative technological solution for medication management  which makes it easier for these individuals to follow their prescribed course of treatment even in the absence of a caregiver.

MedReady

MedReady is a simple dispensing device that offers an easy way to keep medications organized while avoiding missed or incorrect doses. When it is time to take the medications, an alarm will sound, and the proper medications will rotate into position for self-administration. Although only about the size of a dinner plate, the unit will hold up to 28 doses.

VNA will train the patient or caregiver how to pre-fill the MedReady unit and set the alarm, or one of our home health professionals will gladly pre-fill the unit for you.
