If you have a loved one who needs ongoing medical care and supervision due to the effects of aging, disability or a chronic illness, VNA's skilled nursing services offer an alternative to placement in a nursing home or assisted living facility that allows your loved one to continue living independently while receiving the highest quality of care. Our in-home nursing services are also beneficial for mothers and newborns as well as individuals who are recuperating from surgery.
Our RNs and LPNs provide comprehensive and coordinated in-home medical care that includes:
- Health status assessments
- Wound care and dressing
- Medication and injection management
- IV management
- Draws for lab work
- Pre-surgery preparation
- Post-operative care
- Nutritional counseling
- Patient education
Under the direction of the patient's physician, our nurses develop and implement an individualized plan of care that is tailored to each patient's needs and abilities. We also offer specialized programs designed for patients who are living with congestive heart failure, diabetes and cancer.
Our visiting nurses average 15-20 years of experience, and many have been with VNA for more than a decade, so you can be assured that your loved one is receiving care from an experienced and dedicated health care professional.
