VNA Family of Services has earned The Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval.

For patients who are undergoing treatment for cancer, VNA Special Care Team provides in-home care and support from oncology clinical nurse specialists as well as nurses certified in oncology, chemotherapy and IV. This highly specialized nursing team works in close collaboration with the patient’s physician to help them manage symptoms, address the side effects of treatment and control pain. By monitoring vital signs and tracking symptoms, our team can also provide early intervention in order to prevent complications should a problem arise.

In addition to clinical care, we also focus on providing education and counseling to patients and their families about the illness so they are empowered to take an active role in their treatment plan. For additional support, VNA offers oncology nurses on call 24 hours a day to assist with questions and problems.
