VNA Family of Services has earned The Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval.

Personal care and companion services are an excellent complement to the clinical care provided by VNA's visiting nurses, as they offer additional support for our patients and much-needed respite for family caregivers.

VNA's personal care aides and companions stay with the patient in the home, giving patients the opportunity to enjoy important one-on-one social interaction. In addition to providing assistance with daily routines like bathing or showering, aides and companions can also help manage common household tasks such as laundry, ironing, grocery shopping and meal preparation.

Our personal care aides also perform vital sign checks every visit and maintain ongoing communication with the patient's nurse, relaying updates and information about changes in physical, emotional or mental conditions that are critical to early intervention should a problem arise.
