VNA Community Services - Flu Shots

According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, more than 200,000 Americans are hospitalized each year due to the flu and flu-related health complications such as pneumonia, encephalitis, bronchitis and sinus or ear infections. Therefore, the CDC strongly recommends annual flu vaccinations for anyone who wants to reduce their chances of getting the flu, but especially for individuals over the age of 50 and their caregivers who are particularly susceptible to the virus.

VNA has been a leader in providing flu shots to members of surrounding communities for over 20 years. 

Flu shots for the 2011  flu season will be given at VNA offices at 154 Hindman Road in Butler on:

• Every Monday through Friday from 9 AM - 11 AM and 1 PM - 3 PM
• Saturday, October 1 from 1 PM - 3 PM
• Saturday, October 15 will be our annual Drive-thru Clinic at 154 Hindman Road, Butler from 10 AM - 12 Noon.

The cost of the flu shots are $20 ( Originally $35, but discounted if paying by cash)

We will accept and bill the following insurances:  Medicare Part B, Security Blue, Freedom Blue, UPMC for Life (Medicare Specialty Plan only), and Gateway Medicare Assured.
