Trained volunteers deliver meals Monday through Friday to those with physical or financial limitations that prevent them from planning and preparing their own meals. Frozen meals are often available to cover weekends and holidays. In addition, our volunteers can perform a safety check on each client and their surroundings to be sure they are safe.

To enroll in the program, clients must demonstrate:

  • the inability to plan, shop and prepare nutritious, well-balanced meals, or meals that meet modified diet requirements
  • some temporary or permanent physical or psychological impairment based on illness, disability or advancing age
  • lack of incentive to prepare meals due to depression, neglect or other social or psychological factors
  • the unavailability of other support resources
  • the ability to otherwise live independently

Donations are taken from clients to cover the cost of their meals. Additional financial contributions are provided by the United Way of Beaver County, churches, businesses, individuals and community organizations.
